Our team advised the primary technology (plant) provider on the drafting, negotiating, concluding suite of contracts for the build of the Derby £0.5Bn waste PFI turnkey EPC FIDIC Silver-Book derived plant supply agreement and ancillaries; technical schedule – legal support to project manager; negotiations with civil engineering main EPC contractor including addressing necessary EPC/Project Agreement (main concession from Local Authority) contract amendments, such as upon: IPR, insurance, bonding, relief and compensation events, termination events, and delay damages.
Case study: £200M Italian energy from waste facility
Our team advised the primary technology (plant) provider on a £200m waste project in Italy (Design Build Operate). Drafting bespoke build contract, based on UK IChemE red book contract, with local law top-tier global firm based in Milan advising on local law points in agreements.
