Banking & Restructuring Lawyer


Prior to joining My Business Counsel in 2016, Helen held positions at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, O’Melveny & Myers LLP and Linklaters LLP. She has also gained experience in-house at several financial institutions, such as Goldman Sachs, Babson Capital, Barclays Bank and The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd. Helen is dual qualified in New York.   Helen is an avid skier with a love of Val d’Isere, where she is based. She also enjoys running, cycling, tennis, swimming and wine-tasting.

Helen Gill is a Solicitor with over ten years’ experience with extensive experience in private practice in London and New York. She has worked on assignments in-house covering a broad range of banking and restructuring law. In particular leveraged and acquisition financing’s and the restructuring of leveraged facilities agreements, acting for both sponsors and lenders/coordinating committees and on both on cross-border and UK based transactions. She also has experience in a range of other finance matters as well as corporate and commercial transactions.
