Kelly qualified as a solicitor in 2004. She is a highly skilled lawyer with a formidable reputation within the profession. Kelly was an Associate Solicitor with an award-winning Firm before joining My Business Counsel.
Kelly demonstrates unquestionable commitment to all of her clients and has been repeatedly mentioned in the industry guide ‘Legal 500’ as a Recommended Lawyer where she is described as ‘a tough litigator’ and ‘gives realistic advice to her clients’,
Kelly advises on all aspects of family law, with particular experience in dealing with cases involving complex legal issues, cases with significant wealth and intricate asset structures including multi-million-pound companies and complicated pension assets.
Kelly has also had the privilege of working on cases involving convoluted children’s arrangements.
A particular focus for Kelly is to raise awareness for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities [SEND] within the Family Courts. Having personal experience of supporting a child on the Autism Spectrum, Kelly knows only too well how important it is for there to be complete understanding of each family’s needs.
Kelly’s dedication to making sure that she fully understands how the needs of each child impacts on both the immediate family, siblings and the wider family is testament to her tenacious approach to her cases and the support which she gives to her clients. Kelly is a member of various organisations and is linked to many professionals within the SEND arena and she is well read on this topic having also written several articles. Kelly also took the lead on developing a SEND sector at her previous firm.
